Rocktober Challenge Day 14

I'm counting down 20 best gig experiences, 5 a day starting with today... let's do this... very hard task.

20. Twin Atlantic - Wrexham - Central Station - 2011
This was one of the gigs I went to when I first started getting into gigging. I think it was one of the first times I got mega squashed. I was second row, i'd lost all my friends, and I was seeing this band who were getting quite big at the time. What a night.

19. Emily's Army - Manchester - Sound Control - 2013/14
I've been to two of their gigs there now. I never thought i'd get a chance to see them live never mind actually meet them. Second time I saw/met them, they actually remembered me from the time before. Lovely bunch of guys! Awesome!

18. Misfits - Manchester - Academy - 2013
This stands out for me because not only did I get to see one of the most famous punk bands for the first time, I actually got my ticket signed by Jerry Only. Never expected that in a million years.

17. Black Stone Cherry - Wrexham - Central Station - 2012
I remember finding out about this about 1 in the morning, I was so shocked that they were playing in Wrexham I couldn't sleep at all that night. Such an amazing band was coming to my little town. That gig was packed out, it's most I've ever seen at Central.

16. Mike Herrera (supporting The Ataris) - Wrexham - Central Station - 2013
This makes me laugh every time I think back to it. Mike asked if anyone was actually from Wrexham, no one raised their hand.... except me, of course! Why do I do this to myself?! He laughed and said to everyone ''give this girl a round of applause for being the only one brave enough to admit she's from here'' I stood there awkwardly whilst I was taking my round of applause and people cheering at me... good times.
