I've been doing this every day and only just realised I haven't written about the actual genre of rock n roll.
There are many types of sub genres in the Rock N Roll category.
My favourites are Punk and Metal.
Punk Music: This was the first kind of rock music I got into. I love it. I love what it stands for. Ramones is probably the most famous punk band out there. It is annoying that clothing stores use their logo as fashion nowadays, with people buying these t-shirts thinking the Ramones is a designer.... idiots! Punk music is something I always find interesting. Without Punk I wouldn't have Green Day as my favourite band, now that would be a horrible world.
Metal Music: Getting into this type of music came a bit later on. I started listening to heavier music as I got older, though I've always been a Metallica fan. I can really get into and appreciate long, epic guitar solos more. Thankfully I do.
I guess you could say I'm half punk, half metal - head.... best of both worlds!
